Regulations of IFJ PAN Repository

Preliminary provisions

  1. These Regulations specify the terms of use of the Repository administered by the Henryk Niewodniczański Institute of Nuclear Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences, with its registered seat in Krakow (31−422), ul. Radzikowskiego 152, through the website https://rifj.ifj.edu.pl.
  2. The Repository of the Henryk Niewodniczański Institute of Nuclear Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences (IFJ PAN Repository), is a service that collects, archives and shares through the network all scientific and popular science works whose authors are affiliated with the Institute, or doctoral dissertations approved for the public defense at IFJ PAN (hereinafter referred to as the “Work”).
  3. The Repository collects preprints, postprints, and published versions of works (habilitation dissertations, monographies, chapters in monographies, research papers,conference proceedings, IFJ PAN reports, doctoral dissertations, teaching materials, and other digital documents).
  4. Using the Repository shall signify accepting the provisions hereof.
  5. The use of the Repository is free of charge.

Deposit of works

  1. Two methods of depositing works are permissible:
    1. direct deposit, i.e. autoarchive (only by the author of the work after setting up an account in the Repository),
    2. indirect deposit (in particular habilitation and doctoral dissertations) – by the editor of the IFJ PAN Repository.
  2. The persons authorized to direct deposit of works in the Repository are the authors who own an e-mail address at the ifj.edu.pl domain and who have created an account in the Repository.
  3. In the event of direct deposit of works by the author, the editorial team of the IFJ PAN Repository shall verify the correctness of their format and metadata before making the works available.
  4. In the course of depositing the work in the IFJ PAN Repository, its author certifies that he/she owns the copyright to the archived work. Simultaneously, the author declares that the work is his/her intellectual property.
  5. The author shall bear full responsibility for works deposited in the Repository and shall be liable for the potential violation of copyrights and property rights of third parties as well as for submitting content that may infringe legal norms in force in the Republic of Poland.
  6. The author shall grant IFJ PAN a free non-exclusive license to place, archive and provide access to the work by the IFJ PAN Repository by submitting a statement to that effect:
    • in the case of direct deposit, a statement shall be accessible in the IFJ PAN Repository in the course of depositing the work,
    • in the case of indirect deposit, i.e. by the editor of the Repository, the statement shall be signed by the author on paper.
  7. While depositing the work, its author may grant one of the Creative Commons (CC) licenses.
  8. In exceptional circumstances and at the request of the author, it shall be possible to update or remove the deposited work exclusively through the editorial office of the Repository.

Providing access to works

  1. Access to the bibliographic descriptions of works deposited in the IFJ PAN Repository is open to all.
  2. Access to the full versions of works archived in the IFJ PAN Repository is open to all in accordance with licenses granted by their authors or in accordance with relevant provisions of fair use. It is permissible, however, to grant access to some works exclusively for authorized users, should the author indicate limitations in the submitted statement.

Personal data

  1. The Controller of personal data is the Henryk Niewodniczański Institute of Nuclear Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences, ul. Radzikowskiego 152, 31−422 Kraków.
  2. You can contact the Data Protection Officer at dpoifj.edu.pl.
  3. Personal data shall be processed pursuant to Article 6, Item 1, Letter a, of the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016 for the purpose of using the Repository.
  4. The data subjects shall have the right to access their personal data, rectification (correction), erasure or restriction of processing of their data, to withdraw their permission or to file a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
  5. Personal data shall be retained until the withdrawal of the permission.
  6. Provision of personal data is voluntary, but refusal to provide such data shall result in the refusal to set up an account in the Repository.

Postanowienia wstępne

  1. Niniejszy regulamin określa zasady korzystania z Repozytorium, prowadzonego przez Instytut Fizyki Jądrowej im. Henryka Niewodniczańskiego Polskiej Akademii Nauk, z siedzibą w Krakowie (31-342), przy ul. Radzikowskiego 152, za pośrednictwem serwisu internetowego dostępnego pod adresem: https://rifj.ifj.edu.pl.
  2. Repozytorium Instytutu Fizyki Jądrowej im. Henryka Niewodniczańskiego Polskiej Akademii Nauk (Repozytorium IFJ PAN) służy gromadzeniu, archiwizowaniu i udostępnianiu za pośrednictwem sieci Internet utworów naukowych i popularnonaukowych, w których autor podał w afiliacji nawę Instytutu oraz rozpraw doktorskich dopuszczonych do publicznej obrony w IFJ PAN (dalej: utwór).
  3. W Repozytorium mogą być gromadzone preprinty, postprinty, wersje opublikowane utworów (rozprawy habilitacyjne, monografie, rozdziały w monografiach, artykuły, materiały konferencyjne, raporty IFJ PAN, rozprawy doktorskie, materiały dydaktyczne i inne dokumenty cyfrowe).
  4. Korzystanie z Repozytorium oznacza zgodę na przestrzeganie postanowień niniejszego Regulaminu.
  5. Korzystanie z Repozytorium jest nieodpłatne.

Deponowanie utworów

  1. Dopuszcza się dwie formy zamieszczania utworu:
    1. deponowanie bezpośrednie, czyli autoarchiwizację (wyłącznie przez autora pracy po założeniu konta w Repozytorium),
    2. deponowanie pośrednie (w szczególności rozpraw habilitacyjnych i rozpraw doktorskich) – poprzez redaktora Repozytorium IFJ PAN.
  2. Osobami uprawnionymi do bezpośredniego deponowania utworów w Repozytorium są autorzy, posiadający adres e-mail z domeną ifj.edu.pl, po założeniu konta w Repozytorium.
  3. W przypadku bezpośredniego deponowania utworów przez autora, redakcja Repozytorium IFJ PAN, przed udostępnieniem dokumentów, zatwierdza poprawność formatu i metadanych.
  4. Autor w momencie zamieszczania utworu w Repozytorium IFJ PAN poświadcza, że prawa autorskie do archiwizowanego utworu należą do niego. Równolegle deklaruje, że utwór jest jego własnością intelektualną.
  5. Autor ponosi pełną odpowiedzialność za utwory zamieszczone w Repozytorium i odpowiada za ewentualne naruszenia praw autorskich i majątkowych osób trzecich oraz zamieszczanie treści mogących naruszać normy prawa obowiązujące w RP.
  6. Autor udziela IFJ PAN nieodpłatnej licencji niewyłącznej na umieszczenie, przechowywanie oraz udostępnienie utworu przez Repozytorium IFJ PAN wypełniając stosowne oświadczenie:
    • w przypadku bezpośredniego deponowania, oświadczenie dostępne jest w Repozytorium IFJ PAN w trakcie wprowadzania utworu,
    • w przypadku pośredniego deponowania tj. przez redaktora Repozytorium, tekst oświadczenia autor podpisuje w wersji papierowej.
  7. W trakcie deponowania utworu autor może udzielić jednej z licencji Creative Commons (CC).
  8. W wyjątkowych sytuacjach, na wniosek autora, możliwe jest zaktualizowanie lub usunięcie zdeponowanego utworu, wyłącznie za pośrednictwem Redakcji Repozytorium.

Udostępnianie utworów

  1. Dostęp do opisów bibliograficznych utworów zdeponowanych w Repozytorium IFJ PAN jest otwarty dla wszystkich.
  2. Dostęp do pełnych wersji utworu zarchiwizowanych w Repozytorium IFJ PAN jest otwarty dla wszystkich zgodnie z licencjami udzielonymi przez autorów, lub zgodnie z właściwymi przepisami o dozwolonym użytku. Dopuszcza się jednak możliwość udostępniania niektórych utworów wyłącznie uprawnionym użytkownikom, jeśli autor wskaże ograniczenia w złożonym oświadczeniu.

Dane osobowe

  1. Administratorem danych osobowych jest Instytut Fizyki Jądrowej im. Henryka Niewodniczańskiego Polskiej Akademii Nauk, ul. Radzikowskiego 152, 31−422 Kraków.
  2. Kontakt z Inspektorem Ochrony Danych Osobowych możliwy jest pod adresem dpoifj.edu.pl.
  3. Dane przetwarzane będą na podstawie Art. 6 ust. 1 lit. a ogólnego rozporządzenia o ochronie danych osobowych z dnia 27 kwietnia 2016 r. w celu korzystania z Repozytorium.
  4. Osobom, których dane dotyczą, przysługuje prawo do dostępu do swoich danych osobowych, ich sprostowania (poprawienia), usunięcia lub ograniczenia przetwarzania danych, cofnięcia zgody, wniesienia skargi do Prezesa UODO.
  5. Dane osobowe będą przechowywane do czasu wycofania zgody.
  6. Podanie danych osobowych jest dobrowolne, jednakże odmowa podania danych skutkować będzie odmową założenia konta w Repozytorium.
