Abstract:
A new ion source for the AIC-144 isochronous cyclotron is presented. The source is of the PIG-type for production protons, deuterons and helions. It is most convinient as an “old” source f.ex. filament of the cathod is exchaanged only by pulling of a cathod’s holder.
The source possess some new mechanisms for improving of exploitation.
