(Institute of Nuclear Physics Polish Academy of Sciences, 2025-04-15) Stasica, Paulina; Granja Carlos; Kopeć, Renata; Krzempek, Dawid; Oancea, Cristina; Ruciński Antoni; Rydygier Marzena; Winiarz Mateusz; Gajewski Jan
The experimental data supporting results presented in Stasica-Dudek, et al. 2025 Phys. Med. Biol. (https://doi.org/10.1088/1361-6560/adcaf9). The measurements were performed with a Timepix3 MiniPIX detector with a 300 um silicon sensor operated in data-driven mode. Folders „sobp”, „impt-a”, „impt-b” and „impt-c”, refer to measurements performed for a given setup and irradiation plan presented in the manuscript. Each of these folders contains multiple subfolders corresponding to individual measurements performed separately for each energy layer of the irradiation plans. The subfolder names are the values of the scanning beam energy. Each subfolder contains .T3PA (Tpx3 pixels ASCII) text files consisting of tab-separated columns. Each row contains information on the pixel index in the matrix, Time of Arrival (ToA), fast Time of Arrival (fToA), and Time over Threshold (ToT). The folder „calibration matrices” contains text files with the matrices of calibration coefficients a, b, c, and t for each pixel needed for per-pixel deposited energy computation.
Structural and physicochemical analysis of functionalized gold nanoparticles dedicated to photothermal therapy
(Institute of Nuclear Physics Polish Academy of Sciences, 2025) Imbir, Gabriela
Raw data of Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometry (UV-Vis), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), and Surface-enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS) for characterization of surface-modified gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) to investigate the role of functional groups in the interaction between nanoparticles and drug. Two types of Au NPs functionalization were employed using electrostatic interaction to form ionic bonding (Chitosan) and generate covalent and van der Waals forces (PEI/PSS), using the "layer-by-layer" method. The dataset was acquired as a part of the MINIATURA7 project entitled "Influence of surface functionalization on the interaction between drugs and metallic nanoparticles dedicated to photothermal therapy" financed by the National Centre of Science (NCN) in Poland under grant no. 2023/07/X/ST5/00863.
Surowe dane z transmisyjnej mikroskopii elektronowej (TEM), spektrofotometrii w zakresie widzialnym (UV-Vis), spektroskopii w podczerwieni (FTIR) i powierzchniowo wzmocnionej spektroskopii ramanowskiej (SERS) do charakteryzacji powierzchniowo modyfikowanych nanocząstek złota (Au) w celu zbadania roli grup funkcyjnych w interakcji między nanocząstkami a lekiem.

Synthesis and characterization of SBA-15 silica containing cyclam inside pores for capturing iron chloride: Analysis of interactions between ferrous chloride and cyclam in a system with strongly dispersed functional groups on the SiO2 surface
(Microporous and Mesoporous Materials, 2024-07-04) Laskowski, Łukasz; Laskowska, Magdalena; Walcarius, Alain; Doskocz, Marek; Vila, Neus; Karczmarska, Agnieszka; Pawlik, Piotr; Goraus, Jerzy; Balin, Katarzyna; Dulski, Mateusz
The use of the spatial structure of mesoporous silica combined with organic molecules opens up a wide range of possibilities in the field of separation of single atoms and the precise creation of their environment. Materials obtained in this way can find applications as single-atom catalysts (SAC) and in environmental applications in ion and molecule trapping processes. An example of such a material is silica of the SBA-15 type functionalized with cyclam (1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane) anchored inside the pores with propyl chains. In this work, we present such a material containing 5% functional groups, additionally activated with iron(II) chloride, which was chelated by cyclam anchored inside the pores of silica. The presented nanocomposite has been thoroughly tested for its assumed molecular structure and stability. We compared it to a material containing only cyclam. The obtained results showed the high efficiency of the silica matrix with cyclam in the separation of single FeCl2 molecules and the correct molecular structure of the obtained material. The nanocomposite containing chelated molecules with iron showed good stability, while the structure of the material with cyclam alone collapsed with time.
