Niniejsza baza danych dotyczy ośmiu rdzeni torfowych zebranych z różnych typów torfowisk występujących w Europie Środkowej. Główny nacisk położony jest na Pb-210 jako podstawowy geochronometr oraz radioizotopy C-14 i Pu-239+240 stosowane do celów weryfikacji datowania. Oprócz prostych, klasycznych modeli, takich jak CF/CS czy CF, zastosowano nowe podejście oparte na metodzie Plum.
This database concerns the eight peat cores collected from different types of peatlands distributed in Central Europe. The main focus is on Pb-210 as a fundamental geochronometer along with C-14 and Pu-239+240 radioisotopes applied for dating verification purposes. In addition to simple classical models such as CF/CS or CF, the new approach formulated upon the Plum method is applied.
