dc.description.abstract	Current arguments concerning the variability of RBE in treatment plans are reviewed and cases are discussed where proton therapy may require the use of treatment planning systems in which a variable RBE is implemented. Novel and recently introduced treatment modalities, such as Proton Arc Therapy, are considered. Risk management following the implementation of a variable RBE in proton therapy planning is also introduced and discussed.	pl_PL.UTF-8
